Lay Eucharistic Visitors
Members of our congregation who cannot be with us because of chronic illness or a trip to the hospital, sometimes require that the Table Fellowship we share on Sunday mornings be brought to them. Lay Eucharistic Visitors are sent from the altar carrying the Sacrament to them. They are trained in this ministry by the Priest in Charge. In addition to this training, the Diocese of Los Angeles requires that each Lay Eucharistic Visitor be educated in Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Elder Abuse Prevention before they are licensed for a three-year term of service.
