Lay Eucharistic Ministers

Called by the Rector to serve the congregation at the altar, Lay Eucharistic Ministers are licensed by the Diocese of Los Angeles for three years.  They lead the Prayers of the People before Communion. They are among those dressed in white and standing at the altar during the long prayer over the bread and wine. They are trained to administer the bread and wine during the sharing of Communion. If you are curious to learn more about this important ministry, please speak with a member of the clergy.
