Episcopal Relief & Development

 The people of St. Peter's Church have generous hearts and they continue to support the programs and outreach of ERD. In the event of disaster or in response to dire need, the work of ERD is lifted up in this church. The photo is a likeness of paper figures that represent the challenge given us in raising money to send the people of Sudan mosquito nets so that the people there might be protected from contracting malaria. It's a major problem for the families in that region.

In the Nets 4 Life Campaign, everyone who gave toward one net, protected at least three people. The collections went on throughout the Lenten season and the paper figures surrounded us on Easter Day. The people of Sudan were with us in our Easter celebration.

In addition to the Nets 4 Life Campaign, we have supported the relief efforts following the tsunami in Thailand, Hurricanes Katrina and Sanday, the terrible devastation following the massive tornadoes in Missouri and Oklahoma. We are happy to support the ongoing work of ERD wherever they are needed around the world.
